Damson and black plums, with rosehip and floral notes drifting over a deeper base of cassis and berry compote. Savoury layers of dried thyme, forest floor, liquorice and chocolate bring extra depth. Loaded with energy and boldness on the palate, with bright red-fruit lift before a deeper, layered, darker berry core, surrounded by char and nutmeg spice on dusty, resolving cocoa tannins. Complex and lively even in its age, with plenty of life left in it - a lovely drop!
