Floral on the nose, with rose and violet over a core of juicy ripe raspberry and currant, edged by darker blackberry, a touch of cocoa and spice. It feels fun, youthful and succulent. Medium-bodied and velvety on the palate, with a gliding, fruit-weighted texture finishing on fine, light tannin and a zip of fresh acidity. Red and black bramble fruit carries through, with a dusting of chocolate on the finish. Smooth, easy, lightly layered. A perfect sofa with a mate, kinda wine.
