Brooding black cherry, boysenberry and canned strawberry framed with black pepper, tobacco smoke and tomato leaf. On the palate, dark plum fruit meets olive tapenade, with graphite and pencil lead savoriness. Linear acidity carries a dense, complex palate, with fine-grained, chalky tannins and a silky texture. Serious and layered, it’s a Pinot Noir with presence.
